Our Story

My name is Jewel Jackson-Fisher and I am the creator of The Devil’s Tears Organic and Gluten Free Chilli Sauce. Originally from San Francisco, I have been living in Western Australia since 1979. I began selling my sauce at the annual Araluen Chilli Festival in 2003. It was an instant success among the local crowd, and I became a major exhibitor and drawcard for the festival. On many occasions, I won a swathe of awards for my chilli sauce. As each year passed by, I developed an increasingly strong following of repeat customers.

 

What set my product apart is that not only is my sauce organic and gluten free, it also contains no salt, sugar or preservatives. Even the ingredients are locally grown. Combined with a 2 year shelf life, The Devil’s Tears is a wholesome and healthy sauce made in Western Australia with a deliciously hot kick to it! So versatile, use it straight on your foods or cook with it in the kitchen. Try it with your fish, salads and vegetables. Beautiful on eggs or marinate your meats. Or just simply mix a few drops with mayonnaise or your favourite recipe.

 

In 2019, The Devil’s Tears began supplying selected Coles stores in the greater Perth region. Now in 2020, we will be available in every Coles store throughout Western Australia. Look for us in your nearest Coles store. As we continue to grow, we will be able to help support our state and make The Devil’s Tears become a household name throughout Australia.
